Dynamic BUD
Behavioral Urban Data Analytics for Smarter Cities

Behavioral Urban Data (BUD) is a pivotal foundation for analyzing, planning, and developing urban space.

By harnessing this data, key players gain critical insights for future urban development, alongside tools for measuring and refining current projects.

Dynamic BUD equips municipalities, businesses, and urban planners with advanced tools for mapping urban environments. Our platform excels in gathering, analyzing, and visually presenting big data to reveal intricate patterns of urban life. Whether leveraging existing building rights or enhancing sustainability in public spaces, our comprehensive data mapping offers deep insights. We integrate aspects like specific regulations, environmental psychology, and commercial activities to provide robust support for both ongoing and prospective urban projects.

Arch. Meirav Dadash
Hi, I'm Meirav and I'm an architect who specializes in parametric architecture.
I research and analyze enclosed and open spaces using psychological and mathematical models to achieve spatial optimization.
I graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Architecture and Design and have experience working on projects and conducting workshops worldwide.
During my studies and beyond, I developed an algorithm for smart urbanism, which provides a comprehensive understanding of human behavior in spatial environments and generates an extensive database of information about urban users.
Over the years, we have faced significant challenges due to the digital divide between the development of urban environments and the digital literacy of its residents. This gap creates a separation and distancing between the current and desired states. Furthermore, urban planning and development have traditionally relied solely on quantitative data such as sidewalk width per person. However, to create cities that truly meet the needs of our communities, we must engage the public in decision-making processes and share information with them transparently and comprehensively.

The solution
Our 3 steps solution
Step 1: Data Mining, Analysis & Accessible Insights
In this initial phase, we conduct a comprehensive data mining and analysis process to uncover critical insights about your urban space. We don't just collect data; we specialize in making it accessible, actionable, and customized to your unique needs. With our expertise, we know how to structure and visualize the data in a way that is intuitive and meaningful to you. By presenting information in a clear, accessible format, we empower you to make informed decisions and implement strategic changes confidently. This step typically takes around three months, depending on the complexity of the project and your specific goals, and serves as a foundation for making impactful use of urban data.
Step 2: Continuous Collaboration & Consultation
Once your personalized data portfolio is complete, we continue to work alongside you as a strategic partner. We provide ongoing support and consulting throughout the implementation process to help you integrate the insights into actionable plans. This partnership ensures that your urban data solutions remain aligned with your goals, evolving and adapting as your project progresses.
Step 3: Pilot Program Participation
As part of our commitment to innovation, we offer clients the opportunity to join our exclusive pilot program. In this phase, we use advanced data mining techniques, analysis of existing datasets, and cutting-edge research to detect patterns and build predictive models. The pilot also includes our state-of-the-art sensor technology, which measures and analyzes movement within urban spaces 24/7. This unique sensor technology captures real-time data, even for individuals who do not use smartphones (like toddlers, the elderly, and the homeless), providing comprehensive insight into human movement across the city. This continuous stream of data enables us to deliver quicker, more accurate insights into the dynamics of urban life.
The 3 steps product
Our solution is based on smart dynamic
mapping. The system maps the environment in real-time and creates a 3D map of open or closed urban areas. It can be customized to work with any sensor with a lens and organize the data based on the client's requirements and local regulations. The more detailed the information we collect and analyze, the wider we can expand the mapping coverage and create a more precise data repository. What sets our solution apart is our ability to gather a wealth of information beyond the original scope, allowing us to provide extensive and innovative insights. For instance, our capability to collect multidimensional information gives us much deeper insights compared to just GPS-based tracking.

Benefits
Adaptation
The hardware can connect to any lens type, including street cameras, drones, and other products for mapping the environment based on the customer's preferences.
Personal catalog
Each neighborhood, city, or area creates and receives its personal information catalog. This collects specific data from the environment and learns the needs and private data of the inhabitants.
Diversity
The product can recognize and track all moving bodies, including children, toddlers, and the elderly, in various environments, beyond just phone owners or information sharers.
Real-time
The system is capable of real-time data analysis, handling large events such as demonstrations and festivals, perceiving space in real time, and providing on-site solutions.
Transparency
The information is readily available to the customer. The work will be done in close collaboration with the client, ensuring transparent information sharing and providing full autonomy to utilize it.
Size
The hardware is small and lightweight, making it easy to attach to any lens. Its compact design ensures portability and convenience.
Privacy
The product can analyze the body without capturing facial features or taking photos. The new technology can generate an item for each individual without compromising their privacy.
Mobility
The product is capable of tracking mobility and interpreting movement and space usage, including time, distance, stops, direction of travel between sidewalks, and pausing at stores.
